| "Velvet Garden is a three piece grunge band from Phoenix Arizona that formed in early 2009 between guitarist and vocalist Damon Johnston former "Heart" drummer Gary Loomis and bassist Doc Frasier.The grunge band from Phoenix musical roots extend from Seatle to Texas,California to Arizona.Velvet Garden's unique style and sound is a direct result of the band members influences by such artist as Nirvana,Alice in Chains,Sound Garden,Stone Temple Pilots,Pearl Jam and other grunge influences.Velvet Garden is currently in the studio working with producer and music legend Otto D'Agnolo at Chaton Studios recording tracks for their debut CD to be released in 2009.Velvet Garden was signed by Swerve Records in 2010 and will launch their world wide tour starting in the U.S. and Europe." |
