"Phase 5 started as an idea in the world of percussion, with a hint of synthesizer. As a hard rock and metal drummer, I found it was time to tap a whole new world of percussive sounds that had many different textures and colors. The Phase 5 concept explores electronic, as well as accoustic, drums with percussion instruments from around the world. Adding a splash of synthesizer and occasional orchestrial highlights, I can now explore new areas of my own self expression. It is my hope that all who listen to Phase 5, and future Phase 5 projects, enjoy what they hear and can find some meaning in what they hear."
